Combined treatment for warts and molluscum contagiosum.

Macrocea Combi is a modular product consisting of two components: a potassium hydroxide (KOH) solution that acts against infected cells, and an antiseptic cream that enhances and completes the virucidal action of the treatment.

PROPERTIES  

Combined treatment for warts and molluscum contagiosum, consisting of two treatment phases:

Phase A (potassium hydroxide solution) is applied to skin lesions caused by molluscum contagiosum and/or common warts.

The highly alkaline solution dissolves virus infected cells, thereby triggering a local defense reaction in the affected area.

The goal of the treatment is to stimulate a painless local inflammatory response that activates the immune system to fight the infection.

The combined, sequential, and repeated application of Phase B (antiseptic cream) supports the immune system’s action and the antiviral activity of the treatment, enhancing its effects and reducing treatment duration.

When used correctly, Macrocea Combi is considered a safe and effective treatment.

Temporary inflammatory reactions, such as redness and itching in the treated area, indicate that the treatment is working and that the infection is healing.

Complete healing may take time.
