MACROCEA® GYN HP is a food supplement formulated with ingredients that help improve the immune system response, supporting the body’s natural defenses when exposed to external pathogens.

Thanks to the action of its active ingredients, MACROCEA® GYN HP is considered a valuable adjunct treatment to support antiviral, antibiotic, and antifungal therapies.

PROPERTIES

This supplement is characterized by the presence of standardized natural extracts of Echinacea angustifolia (4% echinacosides), Echinacea purpurea (4% polyphenols), and Green Tea (50% epigallocatechin gallate).

Standardized extracts contain active compounds at precise concentrations considered effective in stimulating immune system activity. In particular, several studies show that standardized Echinacea extracts increase both the number and activity of macrophages and granulocytes—sentinel cells of the immune system—thereby enabling faster activation and strengthening defenses against pathogens.

Green tea leaf extract is standardized in Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG), a compound with strong antioxidant activity that also exhibits antiviral effects against several types of viruses (such as papillomavirus and herpes virus).

To help counter viral infections and further strengthen the immune system, MACROCEA® GYN HP also contains Lysozyme, a natural protein substance with antimicrobial activity that binds to pathogenic microbial cells, making them more vulnerable and limiting their ability to grow.

Prebiotic fibers, represented by Inulin, promote balance of the intestinal flora by increasing beneficial Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli, which support nutrient absorption and also enhance absorption of the active compounds from the plant extracts in MACROCEA® GYN HP. Inulin also acts as a signaling agent that attracts immune cells (mainly leukocytes) to infected areas.

Finally, Vitamins C, E, and A, along with Zinc, contribute to the normal function of the immune system and help protect cells from oxidative stress.
