INDICATIONS

Exposure to UV rays leads to an intense production of free radicals that damage cellular structures (DNA and proteins), resulting in immediate or delayed adverse effects such as erythema, photodermatitis, dyschromia/pigmentation spots, melanoma, ocular degeneration, and skin photoaging.

By starting supplementation at least 20–30 days before sun exposure, the body is supplied with a complex of antioxidant substances and agents that stimulate tanning (melanogenesis), helping to prevent photo induced damage.

PROPERTIES

Zinc, copper, selenium, and vitamins B2, C, and E help protect cells from oxidative stress.

Extracts of Vitis vinifera and Piper nigrum act as antioxidants; copper also contributes to normal skin pigmentation.

Preventive intake of Lumage® Tablets complements but does not replace the use of appropriate sun protection.
